Development giant Land Securities has revealed plans to invest around £1 Billion ($1.3 Billion USD) over the next 12 months to make the most of what Chief Executive Mark Allan called an “attractive time” in the market. The first £400 Million ($508 Million USD) will be used for Landsec’s committed pipeline, with the majority of the remaining £600 Million ($763 Million USD) set to be invested in retail, Allan said during Landsec’s financial results media presentation for the year ended March 31.

Vantage Data Centers is expanding its EMEA platform with €750 Million ($815 Million USD) financing from Ares Management, Caisse de Depot et Placement du Quebec (CDPQ), and Schroders Capital. Ares’s infrastructure debt and alternative credit strategies and CDPQ are providing up to €300 Million ($325 Million USD) each, together with a €150 Million ($163 Million USD) contribution from Schroders Capital in financing, alongside incremental equity to help Vantage grow its EMEA data center portfolio.

Greenbrook Partners has appointed Jeff Jerden as COO. Jerden was previously COO at Veritas Investments, a manager of multifamily investments in the San Francisco Bay Area. Prior to this, he was Executive Vice President of Centennial Holding Co. in Atlanta, where he oversaw the asset management of nearly 10,000 apartments.
