Los Angeles-based Ares Management Corp. raised $5.4 Billion in capital to invest in value-add real estate across the United States and Europe. The announcement follows the closings of Ares US Real Estate Fund XI and Ares European Property Enhancement Partners IV, which raised approximately $3.5 Billion and $1.9 Billion, respectively, including equity commitments and other transaction vehicles. “As real estate markets move into the early stages of recovery, our confidence is fueled by the increase in long‑term structural demand across our high-conviction New Economy sectors,” Julie Solomon, Head of Ares Real Estate, said in a statement.

Carmel Partners has held a final close for its Carmel Partners Investment Fund 9, the firm’s U.S. multifamily real estate value creation fund. Fund 9 successfully closed at $1.35 Billion and has already acquired nine operating assets. Investors include U.S. and international pension funds, endowments, foundations, select family offices and high-net-worth managers. Carmel has successfully raised more than $8.5 Billion since the inception of its fund series in 2003.

Mesa West Capital has raised more than $1.093 Billion for its Mesa West Real Estate Income Fund VI. The firm launched the funds in September 2025. The firm did not comment on its fundraising efforts. The fund will take a value-added approach to U.S. markets. The fund will primarily focus on originating and purchasing senior loans across traditional and alternative property types.
