Facebook and Instagram parent Meta announced that it has invested $10 Billion to start construction on a 1,500-acre data center campus in Lebanon, Ind. The campus is set to comprise 13 total buildings spanning 4 Million Square Feet, including 10 data center buildings and three facilities for logistics, warehousing, and administrative services.

Tri Pointe Homes (TPH) stock surged 27% in premarket trading after Sumitomo Forestry (SMFRF) agreed to acquire the home builder in an all-cash transaction valued at ~$4.5 Billion, in the Japanese company’s bid to ramp up construction of homes in the U.S. Under the agreement, Sumitomo Forestry (SMFRF) will pay $47.00 per share for each common share of Tri Pointe (TPH), representing a 29% premium to TPH’s closing stock price.
