Link Logistics engaged RealFoundations to perform a comprehensive review of Link’s Yardi Voyager® environment and to assist in the planning and delivery of an upgrade to their Voyager platform. Additionally, RealFoundations conducted multiple analyses of both existing and legacy custom objects, job schedules and run-times, to assess overall system performance.

Challenges
- Older version of Yardi Voyager with multiple layers of newer plug-ins and hotfixes posed upgrade hurdles,
- Nearly 24/7 system uptime required for on- and off-shore resources,
- Limited historical system governance enabled heavy Voyager processing loads by business users during critical working hours, leading stakeholders to question Voyager’s stability / reliability, and
- Legacy Voyager carryovers from previous mergers and acquisitions (e.g., temporary tables, residential options on commercial screens).
Value-Add Solutions
- Collaborating closely with Link stakeholders and Yardi’s Professional Services Group, the team optimized, eliminated, or dramatically enhanced numerous objects, schedules, and back-end system jobs,
- The project culminated in a standardized instance of Voyager with optimized performance, enhanced security, and reduced processing times,
- The RF project team developed and facilitated rigorous User Acceptance Testing and targeted Regression Testing to ensure platform viability prior to deployment, and
- Link accounting and operations teams gained the ability to work faster and more efficiently and accelerated report generation capabilities.
