Diagnostic Leads to Implementation of Sales Simplicity Integrated with JDE
Project Overview
During a multi-year program, RealFoundations assisted a top 30, private U.S. home builder with several operational and technological improvement initiatives. The client wanted to promote efficiencies across the firm and improve visibility in reporting. RealFoundations, an Oracle Gold Partner, was engaged to perform an operational and system diagnostic assessment, which led to the implementation of Sales Simplicity, the sales and contracting system, and the design and deployment of an integration with Oracle JD Edwards (JDE).
Challenges
Major challenges included:
- Varied business practices across divisions, making system deployments and data processing/reporting at the corporate level cumbersome and time-consuming,
- Multiple legacy CRM tools and inconsistent processes for sales and contracting across divisions,
- Inconsistent management of purchase agreements, supporting contract documents and associated requirements across divisions, and
- Inaccuracies in sales and operational data in JDE due to manual data entry and lack of system integration.
Value-Add Solutions
RealFoundations implemented Sales Simplicity as the sales and contracting system in all divisions in an effort to streamline processes and promote reporting transparency. Additionally, RF:
- Migrated data from multiple legacy systems into a single platform and standardized associated operational processes,
- Worked with divisions to document requirements that accommodated business variances in the deployment of Sales Simplicity,
- Developed a two-way system integration between JDE and Sales Simplicity to automate data movement and various processes,
- Deployed consistent purchase agreement generation and execution functionality in Sales Simplicity and DocuSign across all divisions, and
- Restructured Option Master data in JDE for multiple divisions by improving option numbering, descriptions, attributes and cutoffs.

- Improved efficiency and accuracy in contract generation by sales agents,
