Our In-Place Continuity Plans

March 2020 | COVID-19 Response – RealFoundations understands the growing concern around the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), and our thoughts go out to everyone affected by this unprecedented event. We have been closely monitoring emerging news and following all recommendations from the World Health Organization (WHO), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and local health authorities.

 

We Are Prepared

RealFoundations is a global professional services firm, delivering value to our clients from offices around the world. We are actively following our in-place continuity plans. In these moments of uncertainty, we are sharing some of these activities with you to reconfirm our continued commitment and capability to serve our clients and the real estate industry.

 

Our Actions to Date

  1. Working Over Distance: Recognized as a global leader in collaboration, RealFoundations is versed in using technologies for working over distance (WOD). By drawing on this competency we have been able to quickly respond to the current environment. We have further prioritized the safety of our employees and clients by implementing specific travel restrictions and office closures, requesting practitioners in our AUS, UK and US offices to continue their work remotely. Because we have embraced this way of working, we are able to deliver projects and services from a variety of work ‘places’ (including, but not only from ‘home’). This change has not been a challenge for our firm. Investments in leading-edge collaborative technology enable us to work effectively without the requirement to gather in a single, physical office.
  2. Reduced Travel: Following the guidance from global health officials, we have suspended business travel to countries categorized by the CDC as Level 2 or Level 3 until further notice. We have also suspended international business travel. Domestic travel for all lower-risk countries (Level 1 or below) will continue but will be limited whenever travel is deemed optional.
  3. Continued Operations: We have taken all appropriate measures to ensure our internal operations continue effectively under this extraordinary scenario and minimize any impact on our clients. RealFoundations practitioners in our Technology Support team have the remote access capabilities and resources required to perform their duties efficiently, supporting all client-facing employees in their continued work without interruption to productivity.
  4. Uninterrupted Service Delivery: We have enabled our business continuity plans for our services delivery teams and will continue to update our response as the situation evolves. It is our goal to protect our employees and clients while continuing uninterrupted delivery of our services. We are doing everything possible to ensure client business processes proceed as scheduled and ongoing managed services and client support continues as usual. This also applies to the project work delivered by management consulting practitioners.
  5. Client Interactions: Following “social distancing” recommendations (and the above-stated WOD measures), we are reviewing upcoming meetings, training and other in-person events and assessing each on a case-by-case basis. We understand this is a challenging time and that continuing in-progress work for our clients, without losing momentum, is crucial. We will work with each client to manage the delivery of their requirements with the least possible disruption or delay.
