RF’s David Stanford Serves on GLIO Advisory Committee
Promoting Listed Infrastructure Companies to the Global Investment Community
January 2017 | Dallas, TX – RealFoundations Founder and Executive Managing Director David W. Stanford now serves on the Advisory Committee of the Global Listed Infrastructure Organisation (‘GLIO’). The GLIO was established in June 2016 to promote listed infrastructure companies to the global investment community – it is the global platform for company and benchmark information, capturing almost $2 trillion in market cap. Their information platform and network of investors, bankers, advisors, and listed infrastructure companies serve to promote the growth and awareness of the asset class while connecting investors with opportunities.
In his role on the global Advisory Committee, Mr. Stanford is responsible for setting the agenda and priorities for the organisation. Immediate areas of focus include: growing the supporter base; building the profile of both the GLIO and listed infrastructure investment; and producing timely analysis and reports highlighting the key performance characteristics of the asset class.
“We see listed infrastructure as a much broader extension of our work in the real estate space – they are ‘natural cousins’ under the real assets umbrella,” David said. “We will work with GLIO to promote the initiative to listed companies in North America.”
