Ray Thornton is an EMC/Managing Director at Newmark RF and has over 25 years’ experience aligning real estate business strategies with technology solutions. Ray has held primary responsibility for many ERP transformation, process improvement and technology alignment initiatives, serving as a valued advisor to both internal and external stakeholders. He has deep experience with solution design and configuration, data migration, and consolidating technologies into a unified, centralized platform to maximize efficiency and improve performance.

Prior to joining Newmark RF, Ray served as Senior Director with One11 Advisors. During his tenure, Ray was instrumental in the design and implementation of several service delivery offerings and their associated methodologies and was selected to the President’s Club at One11 for the year 2022. Ray has also served as Senior Vice President of Information Technology at Bell Partners, MAA Communities, and Colonial Property Trust, and was responsible for leading the ERP consolidation during the MAA / CPT merger.

Ray holds an MBA with a technology emphasis from Samford University as well as his Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from the University of Alabama.
