Chris Johnson is an EMC/Managing Director with Newmark RF and has 20 years of experience in real estate management consulting with a concentrated focus on the investment management and residential and commercial owner/operator market sectors. Chris possesses in-depth knowledge of the Real Estate Operating Model and excels in designing optimal platforms that align with the clients’ business objectives.

As a subject matter expert in the Yardi suite of solutions, Chris has assisted over 40 clients globally in implementing and adopting industry-leading solutions and business practices that enhance efficiency and profitability. He has built lasting relationships with several esteemed names in the industry, including Invesco, Starwood Capital, JP Morgan, TIAA-CREF / Nuveen, Greystar, AEW Capital, Shorenstein, and Alter Domus. Additionally, Chris has extensive experience leading large-scale, transformative initiatives and complex projects related to technology strategy, operating model advisory, application diagnostics, system selection, system implementation, and business process improvement.

Chris currently leads Newmark RF’s Investor Sector Practice Group which focuses on helping investors and investment managers elevate their real estate operating platform and driving improved returns.

Chris holds a dual major BBA in Finance with a Real Estate Emphasis and Management from Texas Tech University.
