Brian Daugherty is an EMC/Managing Director with Newmark RF. Brian is an accomplished accounting and financial systems specialist with over 23 years of expertise specifically within the real estate industry. He is highly skilled in accounting, finance, and technology and has successfully delivered over $60 billion of real estate M&A work. Brian is well versed in designing and implementing effective operational, organizational, and technical strategies to help real estate companies run better.

Prior to joining Newmark RF in 2012, Brian was a successful implementation consultant with MRI Software, leading a number of large and complex implementation efforts for owner-operators, public REITs and pension funds, respectfully. Prior to MRI, Brian ran the lease accounting department at Glimcher Realty Trust (now Washington Prime Group) where he was responsible for lease administration, lease accounting, occupancy analysis and SEC reporting.

Brian graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Economics. He holds an MBA from the University of Maryland.
