Barry Faulkner is an EMC/Managing Director and a Member of the Executive Committee at Newmark RF. He has over 25 years of consulting, investment, and operations experience in the real estate industry. At Newmark RF, Barry supports some of RF’s largest, global clients focusing primarily on operating model enhancement, merger integration, business strategy implementation, shared services execution, operational improvement, and new product development. He has extensive operational and investment experience with industrial, office, multifamily, single-family rental and retail property types as well as real estate fund operations.

Barry’s positions prior to Newmark RF include Executive Vice President, managing an $8 billion NCREIF Fund with responsibilities including portfolio management, investment committee membership, new product development and reporting/analytics; Senior Consulting roles with a real estate client base including office and multifamily REITs, worldwide real estate service providers, GSAs and the DoD; and Vice President of a disruptive technology company focusing on real estate procurement. Barry has been a member of the Editorial Advisory Board for Institutional Real Estate Americas. He also served as Chairman of Portfolio Management Committee at NCREIF.

Barry graduated Magnum Cum Laude from Bowdoin College with a Bachelor of Arts in Government & Legal Studies and History. In addition, he holds an MBA from Dartmouth College’s Tuck School of Business.
