SWOOP Highlights RF’s Use of Yammer for Knowledge Transfer
November 2020 | Dallas, Texas – SWOOP Analytics has released the 2020 edition of their Yammer Benchmarking Report, showcasing RealFoundations’ use of Yammer as a knowledge repository and recognizing the firm for “Outstanding Collaborative Performance.”
The benchmarking report includes analytics gathered during a six-month study of 116 organizations, spanning a variety of industries, sizes and geographies, focusing on the interactions of over 2.6 million personnel working across almost 9,000 Yammer Communities. Topics such as emerging best practices are emphasized in the report, as well as the increase in value of a company-wide communication tool due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The “Harvesting Knowledge at RealFoundations” article on page 41 features RealFoundations’ enterprise adoption of Yammer to capture and extend knowledge across the company.
As early adopters of both Microsoft Teams and Yammer, RealFoundations had to distinguish the different uses of each. Yammer and Teams are now used on a daily basis by RealFoundations practitioners — Yammer being used for knowledge-sharing efforts and Teams being used for defined project work. Regardless of where personnel are actively working, Yammer can be leveraged to find the answer they are looking for, whether the question has already been asked or still needs to be answered. This transparent practice of ‘Working Out Loud’ allows other practitioners to benefit from information shared across the enterprise.
