December 2018 | Norman, OK – The 2018-2019 recipient of RealFoundations’ Renée Moorad Memorial MBA Endowed Scholarship Fund is Micah Gillezeau, completing his Master of Business Administration with a specialization in Entrepreneurship at the Gene Rainbolt Graduate School of Business at The University of Oklahoma. Micah is the grandson of immigrants from Mexico and Venezuela and is the first in his family to graduate college, with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish. While in graduate school Micah became a founding board member of the Graduate Business Association at OU and volunteered with his church.
RealFoundations established the endowed scholarship fund in 2016 to honor former co-worker and OU Sooner, Renée Moorad, who was a dedicated student, loyal employee and a civil rights champion with a passion for justice and equality. Micah emulates this spirit with his passion to bring medical professionals, technology innovators and world leaders together to create a sustainable model for primary healthcare in developing countries.
