RF Continues Sponsorship of Agape During Giving Day

Celebrating Non-Profits in North Texas

September 2019 | Dallas, TX – RealFoundations participated as a Challenge Match Sponsor in the 2019 North Texas Giving Day event on September 19th in support of an ongoing relationship with a local DFW nonprofit, Agape Resource and Assistance Center, Inc (Agape). North Texas Giving Day is a day-long event that allows the community to support and celebrate nonprofits in North Texas through monetary contributions of varying amounts.

With help from RealFoundations and members of the North Texas community, Agape was able to surpass their goal of $30,000 and provide hope for the women and children currently in their transitional housing program. This money will go towards helping Agape with everything from day-to-day operations, housing, childcare and degree scholarships.

About Agape Resource & Assistance Center

Agape Resource & Assistance Center began operations in 2013 to provide housing and transformational support services to homeless women, moms, and their children that empower them to move from crisis and poverty to fulfilling, self-sustaining lives. In the last 5 years, Agape has served 48 women and 70 children, providing over 30,000 nights of shelter. To date, they celebrate 24 graduates and their 30 children who now live self-sustaining, safe lives.
