RF Serves Holiday Cheer at Ronald McDonald House
RealFoundations Helps Prepare and Serve Meals for RMHD Families
November 2018 | Dallas, TX – On November 30th, a group of RF practitioners gathered at the Ronald McDonald House Dallas (RMHD) to prepare and serve two of the three meals provided each day to the families housed within the program. RealFoundations has participated in this tradition since 2001, watching RMHD double the number of families they can serve in the DFW community.
RMHD focuses on keeping families together, inspiring strength, and giving love and support to families whose children are receiving essential medical care. They believe a family’s focus should be on healing their children rather than where they will rest their heads or where they will get their next meal, and rely heavily on volunteers to provide, prepare and serve each meal.

Ronald McDonald House Dallas (RMHD) has been keeping families together since they opened their doors in 1981 and has grown from serving 10 families at a time to a capacity of 58 families, with a total of 37,000 families served. In addition to housing, Ronald McDonald House Dallas also provides spaces and opportunities for families to gather to play, learn and be creative together. RMDH continues to be the only agency in Dallas that provides a “home-away-from-home” for families of children in need of serious medical care and remains debt-free thanks to donors and members of the community.
