John D'Angelo
Managing Director
John J. D'Angelo is a Managing Director of RealFoundations, and leads our collaborative work practice. Mr. D'Angelo brings over 16 years of real estate industry experience to RealFoundations. He spent over 10 years in a "Big 5" consultancy, during which he lead a real estate information technology practice in San Francisco, and then a collaborative work practice for the West Coast.
Mr. D'Angelo has experience in the corporate real estate, homebuilder, multi-family developer / manager, and retail developer / manager market sub-segments. Mr. D'Angelo and his teams have developed trusting relationships with some of the most respected organizations in the world, including: Bank of America, State Farm, Starbucks, Nissan / Renault, SBC, AIMCO, Merrill Lynch, and Union Bank of California.
Mr. D'Angelo joined RealFoundations in 2003 and has worked mostly with our corporate real estate clients. Prior to joining RealFoundations, Mr. D'Angelo was a Senior Manager with Cap Gemini Ernst & Young where he was certified as a Master Facilitator, the Ernst & Young Kenneth Leventhal Real Estate Group, and Kenneth Leventhal & Company. Before this litany of consulting firm mergers, Mr. D'Angelo was with Grubb & Ellis.
Mr. D'Angelo lives in New York with his wife and two children.
