Chris Shaida
Executive Director
Mr. Shaida is an Executive Director and founder of RealFoundations, and brings over 23 years of real estate industry experience to RealFoundations. He has played an essential role in building and managing real estate information technology consulting practices both within a “Big 5” management consulting firm and a real estate focused professional services firm. Mr. Shaida founded RealFoundations to provide a place where like-minded professionals are able focus their deep industry and solution knowledge and passion to help improve the operations of our real estate industry and corporate real estate clients.
Mr. Shaida has experience in each of our defined market sub-segments, with particular depth of knowledge in the Homebuilder and Corporate Real Estate segments. Mr. Shaida and his teams have served as trusted business advisors to some of the most recognized names in the Real Estate Industry, including: Kaufman & Broad, Hovnanian, Centex, Shea Homes, and Simon Properties.
Mr. Shaida founded RealFoundations in 2000 with our two other Executive Directors. Prior to founding RealFoundations, Mr. Shaida was a Partner in the Real Estate Information Technology Practice of both Ernst & Young and Kenneth Leventhal & Company. Before joining Kenneth Leventhal & Company, Mr. Shaida served as the CIO of a multi-national construction services company.
Mr. Shaida lives in New York with his wife and two children.
